So, Christmas has come and gone. It was once more and enjoyable experience.

Wednesday afternoon we went to my parents for a Chinese braai, whereafter we handed out presents and opened them. It’s been a tradition with us for years on years now, does anybody else also open pressies on Christmas Eve? From my family I got a nice radio for the office, and an awesome Star Wars LEGO spaceship from Gwyneth (photos to follow eventually…)

On Christmas day we went to church with my family, and then drove to Vanderbijl to Gwyneth’s parents. More presents were handed out there, we got a CADAC braai skottel, and sweets, and Gwyneth gave me another present, a Ghost Busters t-shirt (Who you gonna call!). For lunch we had a cold lunch of gammon, salted beef and chicken, with assorted salads.

We slept over at Gwyneth’s parents last night, and this morning we met my parents in Kroonstad to go visit my gran at the home. It’s always hard to see my gran like that, she’s never been the same since the stroke. I can’t believe it’s almost three years since it happened!

On our way back we stopped at my inlaws again, and had lunch, which comprised of steakrolls. Then we came back home, and have been chilling around the house. I built my LEGO, which took me a good two hours, loved every minute of it!

Yeah, that’s been our Christmas. I’d say it was quite good all around!

Oh, our little doggie’s doing okay, you’d never say she’s just been fixed! Hopefully her wounds will heal nicely!
